Ed Jones
Academy Award winner Ed Jones has distinguished himself over the past three decades in the entertainment and media services industry. Considered by many as one of the pioneers in digital media specializing in 2D and 3D visual effects and animation.
Having contributed to more than 200 projects he not only has the creative ability to design imagery but also to tactically translate a business vision into an attainable business opportunity.
Ed joined Reel FX as Chief Executive Officer in November 2008.He brought creative vision to Reel FX by overseeing all aspects of the studio’s operations and creative work.Especially on building out the company’s original slate of animation projects, developing the films Freebirds and Book of Life, and launching a new Location-Based entertainment company called Immersive Artistry.
Additionally, In October 2010, Jones joined James Cameron and Adam Adamson to produce Cirque du Soliel’s 3D stereoscopic film Worlds Away that was distributed in 2012.
Ed has received the industry’s highest accolades including an Academy Award® as Executive Producer on Happy Feet,an Academy Award® and BAFTA award for Who Framed Roger Rabbit? a BAFTA award for The Witches of Eastwick, and an Annie Technical Achievement award for Space Jam. Additionally, the Cineon compositing software he co-developed at Cinesite was awarded a Scientific Achievement Academy Award®.

Cary Granat
Cary Granat is a leader, innovator and pioneer in the entertainment industry with over 55 films and $5.8 billion in box office revenues and a track record for creating new business models in 3D cinema, global film production and education.
He is best known for co-founding and serving as CEO for Walden Media from 2000 to 2009 and acting as President and COO of Miramax Films’ Dimension Division from 1995 to 2000. While at Walden Media, Granat secured the rights to C.S. Lewis’ beloved Chronicles of Narnia series and oversaw production on the hugely successful first film of the franchise, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Granat’s other films include Scream, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Scary Movie, Amazing Grace, and Spy Kids.
